Yes you can MULTIPLY your chances of hitting the winner by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 !!!

It all depends on the horse's odds. Indeed, our software (see small picture - or the big one) allows you to bet on multiple selections (several competitors) in a single race for a fixed return or profit no matter which contender wins, provided it is among those you selected. Competitors are usually horses, but the program will work on every competition that displays odds for all starters like greyhound racing or any other animal or human competitors.

As a matter of fact, you can bet on up to 9 contenders in a given race! And you'll get the same amount of cash, regardless of which one wins! "Ha, ha, ha..." might American smirk... "Some of our races don't even have that amount of starters! We have races over here with only 5 or 6 starters".
That's OK, the program can use up to 9 odds, but it will work just fine with 2 or 3!


Facts are: on races with few runners, the odds will be so small that one can only wager on 2 or 3 contenders. On the other hand, chances of hitting the winner are a lot bigger!

Remember though... the internet is wide spread and accessible from virtually everywhere nowadays. You can now place your bets online on races happening on the whole world, and let me tell you that in many countries, there are up to 20 starters and the odds are therefore very, very good to play with!

I do prefer, however, to see decimal parts, instead of mathematical figures, so I'll show you the equivalent (anyway, the program accepts what you like most and whatever you type in)

Amount to bet on each horse (with decimal parts) for a $10 profit:

Since online betting usually can be done in multiples of 1, so I'll ask the program to round it up to the next whole unit.

So, that's it! On this particular race, you could bet 9 horses to win, and you would make over ten bucks, whichever won!!! In fact, horse #16 won and #10 finished second (first and second odds). But should they have failed, you'd still have 7 more that might have won and... brought you money!!!
Total amount bet would be $96. You'd get around a 10% return. Not bad for several minutes, when one keeps in mind that money at the bank takes 2 to 3 years to yield that kind of interest rates!

Of course, you'll get a little bit more or less, according to the way figures have been rounded, either up or down.

Horse #16 for instance has been rounded down. You make 17x6= $102 only
Whereas horse #18 has been rounded up, thus yielding 19x6= $114
But that's the way it is.

No need to say that you could bet not only 9 horses but fewer. If you were pretty confident that the outcome of the race was to be decided among the 5 first ones, you could play only 5, or 4, or less. That in return would require a lower investment (money bet).

Let's take now a look at an American race with few contenders and very low odds.

Let's assume the lowest odd is 8/10, the 2nd is 5/2 and the third is 4/1 and you'd like to play 3 horses.
This would entail, in our program:

As you might expect, it is not possible. You'd have to follow the application advice, that is:

Either reduce the quantity of horses to bet on, or increase their odds (let go of the favorite).

The first option would entail:

- either 2 horses

- or three

Any of these two options could be played.
